A community of progressive religious leaders in Washtenaw County

The Huron River Clergy Community formed organically early in 2025. Progressive ministers invited other progressive ministers, who then invited others, to come together for monthly lunch gatherings. Broadly, we’re a group of people looking to deepen relationships in these times in which we are living. We are committed to human dignity and rights, stewardship of creation in the face of climate change, anti-racist, and LGBTQ+ inclusive. A formal agenda is still in the process of taking shape. Leadership is fairly organic, with rotating hosting of the lunches. We share updates from our lives and ministry settings. We reflect on the world. We share events that may be of interest to others in the group.
